Those who want something more unique out of Siesta Key real estate should head to Fisherman’s Cove at 8900 Blind Pass Road. Unlike most Siesta Key condos for sale which are situated adjacent to Siesta Key Public Beach or Crescent Beach, Fisherman’s Cove is right next to Turtle Beach. This lesser known of the three Siesta Key beaches enjoys a smaller number of guests all year long, and for that, assures its visitors of more privacy. This residential complex was built in 1971 but has seen a lot of improvement since the re-nourishment of Turtle Beach.

There are 84 condo residences at Fisherman’s Cove. The units all have gulf views with far grander ones seen from high level residences. These units have a minimum rental period of one to seven days making it extremely profitable for those who wish to have their units rented out while they are away. The prices of a fully furnished two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit can start at around $450,000. But the initial cost of acquiring of a unit at Fisherman’s Cove can easily be recouped by renting out the unit when the owners are away.

Although Siesta Key has always been known for its “whitest and finest sand”, Turtle Beach is different in that its sand texture is coarser as compared to that of Siesta Key Public Beach and Crescent Beach. However, Turtle Beach has become the best place in the island to go shelling and spend private and exclusive time with family and friends.

True to the property’s name, Fisherman’s Cove has its own boat docks giving residents the ability to explore the natural charms of the water surrounding the eight-mile barrier island. But for those whose idea of relaxing and passing time away is fishing, one does not have to venture out to sea just to get the satisfaction from that activity. The Blind Pass Lagoon allows residents to fish. The other amenities that Fisherman’s Cove provides its residents include an outdoor swimming pool, beachside shuffleboard, picnic areas with outdoor barbecue grills and a clubhouse that is complete with a library. All units also have access to wireless internet.

Fisherman’s Cove is just a couple of minutes away from various shops and dining options in Siesta Key. Just a five-minute walk away from the condominium development is Turtle Beach Pub and Turtles on Sarasota Bay. A five-minute drive will get residents to Crescent Plaza and Southbridge Mall where one can find a drug store, department store and a post office. Another five minutes more and one will arrive at Siesta Key Village.
